Doray Castillo is a live event producer with over 20 years of experience in the creation, management, and execution of live events. As the founder of Doray Castillo Productions LLC, she has led concerts, festivals, and tours in Venezuela and the United States, combining artistic sensibility, operational excellence, and strategic vision. Her career combines technical training, business management, and a deep passion for live performance, positioning her as a key figure in Latin American cultural production.
Education and Early Career: From Business Management to Live Performance
Born in Venezuela and currently based in Katy, Texas, Doray Castillo began her professional career in the business world, having studied Systems Engineering and earned a degree as a Senior Technician in Business Organization. This training provided her with a solid foundation in planning, administration, and operational problem-solving.
For over a decade, she worked at Corporación Telnotej, leading the purchasing, sales, human resources, and administration departments at a medical and surgical supplies factory. At the same time, she managed asset recovery at Seguros Lara, developing key skills in negotiation, logistics, and leadership.
These experiences shaped a professional with technical expertise, operational vision, and comprehensive management skills, which she later channeled into her true calling: live entertainment.
Stage productions: events that make history
Doray’s career in the performing arts began in Venezuela, where she was part of the organizing team for the Barquisimeto International Jazz Festival (2008–2011), overseeing artist selection, sponsorships, logistics, and promotion. She later founded Doray Castillo Producciones, through which she produced concerts, tours, and cultural events featuring national and international artists.
Once in the United States, Doray founded Doray Castillo Productions LLC in 2018, and from Houston has led events that have set milestones in the Latin music scene:

- Scarlett Linares in Houston The renowned Venezuelan artist’s first performance in the United States, featuring a production that combined emotion, technical skill, and cultural connection.
- El Gran Bailazo de Feria 2024 A massive event featuring Billos Caracas Boys and Diviana Tu Reina, icons of tropical music, on a night of celebration and tradition.
- Pedro Castillo and Alexis Peña in Houston An intimate and powerful concert that brought together two iconic voices of Venezuelan music in a high-quality stage production.
- Los Inocentes A special production that brought together Elvis Martínez, Jorge Glem, Juan Pablo Romero, and guest artists such as Eddy Marcano, Ibis Sequea, Manuel Rojas, and Nelson Arrieta, in a musical experience that fused genres, generations, and emotions.
